The Nepalese Society of Implant Dentistry (NSID), in partnership with the European Association of Dental Implantologist BDIZ, organized a two-day International Implantology Congress in Kathmandu with the theme “Embracing the Future”. 

The event was attended by more than 250 dental surgeons and trade partners from several countries, including Nepal, the United Kingdom, India, China, the USA, Australia, Germany, and Romania. Sixteen international speakers shared their expertise, offering evidence-based guidelines and consensus for better patient care.

First speaker of the two-day congress, BDIZ EDI  President Christian Berger presented consensus recommendations for each practice to achieve long-term success in implant therapy. Secretary General Professor Jörg Neugebauer showed improvements in implant prosthetics with the help of digital technologies in his lecture.
